Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that lets you bring pistols in to an operation. Some players make use of it to reach certain goals, especially those who want to achieve Suit Only. Others prefer to have the additional pistol to make a gap closer. It is important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category, like alternate slot 2 machine guns. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo increases the damage tick every 10 seconds from Concealed Weapon in the event that it is in the slot.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled items slot is an amazing feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but could be improved. It's currently shaped as an a gun, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can house an array of items, from subtle concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are secretly stored in hidden locations around the map, and can be retrieved at any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects within scenery and objects directly.
Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that allows players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This lets players prepare the ideal mission for each challenge.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will rapidly fill up early in the game, leading to the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max to pick new equipment until the previous items are removed or a larger space has been accumulated. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenge missions. Since many of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take some time to obtain the maximum number inventory slots in the game.
Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.
Agency pick-ups
As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot and take them out later.
These pick-ups can be useful when your task requires you to go through a frisk or you have a weapon on you that might otherwise raise suspicion. However, you can only hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.
This DLC adds new contracts to security and asset protection to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and other items. Once you have reached the marker for your mission you can identify a crowd when you arrive.
